    SENIOR INFORMATION SPECIALIST: Perform public relations-type work for the Missouri Model Spinal Cord Injury System (MOMSCIS), a federal grant-funded program of the University of Missouri-Columbia's Department of Health Psychology. Duties include design and updating of the MOMSCIS Web site, design and editorial production of The Spinal Series semi-annual newsletter, creation of PowerPoint presentations, creation and maintenance of databases, liaison to news media, production of displays for professional conferences, and research and research writing.     SENIOR INFORMATION SPECIALIST: Perform public relations-type work for the Missouri Model Brain Injury System (MOMBIS), a federal grant-funded program of the University of Missouri-Columbia's Department of Health Psychology. Duties include design and updating of the MOMBIS Web site, design and editorial production of The BrainStormer semi-annual newsletter, creation of PowerPoint presentations, creation and maintenance of databases, liaison to news media, production of displays for professional conferences, and research and research writing.     MANAGING EDITOR: Supervise news staff of eight. Duties include layout of daily newspaper and special pages of the newspaper; editorial page content; writing editorials and news and feature articles; policy creation (in cooperation with publisher) and the carrying out of that policy; hiring, firing and training new employees; overseeing re-design of newspaper and "downsizing" from 9-column format to 6-column SAU format; assigning duties to other staff members; coordinating with other departments; relations with the public, including representing the newspaper at public functions, handling complaints, etc.; and designing special editions of the paper. I also helped design, install (both hardware and software) and implement a new Macintosh-based networked computer system and directed the conversion to a paginated newspaper.
